To celebrate Road.cc's excellent review of the Muxu Ride Sock this week, we have created an automated offer to allow all customers to purchase 3 pairs of the merino wonder, and make a saving of 20%. 

All you have to do is add 3 or 6 pairs to your bag, and the pack discount of 20% will be calculated and applied automatically. You can of course add other items to your bag, but only the Ride Sock will have the pack discount applied.  

When socks are this good, one is just not enough.

This week at Muxu we are giving free shipping for all customers until next Tuesday, August 3rd. Simply checkout as normal, but make sure to click the 'Free Shipping' option during checkout in the delivery area. 

The reason we are giving free shipping is because there will be no despatch after today until Tuesday August 3rd. as we are going to the wedding of Pete and Leire from Alwaysriding.co.uk in Bilbao, who are our very good friends. 

Any orders placed whilst we are away will be processed on our return on Tuesday. Normal customer service is still active though, so if you do have a question, then we will get back to you as soon as possible during this time. 

Back in April we shot the outdoor product photos in Barcelona for the Muxu site. We had an incredible day, the weather was perfect and the vibe was excellent. During that shoot we filmed some behind the scenes footage, and we're really pleased to be able to bring that to you now.

For fall the techies out there, so the actual post processing export of the film took 96 hours:) Those post effects certainly whacked out the mac.

When you find something great online, the first thing you might do is to tell a like minded friend. Bearing that behaviour in mind, we have added 'refer a friend' functionality to Muxu, so that you can benefit by sending your friends our way.

How does it work?

The system is very simple. When you are on a Muxu product page you will see a new button on the right called 'refer a friend'.  Make sure you are signed into your Muxu account, or have your details to hand, then click this button to send the web page to a friend. The reason you have to be logged in, or at least enter your Muxu account details, is because your account area will hold a list of your friend referrals, so you can clearly see which friends have responded to your invitation.

The best part is yet to come. If your invited friend or friends spend over the equivalent of £250 with Muxu, you will receive a 10% discount off your next Muxu order. Bingo bongo.

The whole system is fully automated, so just keep checking your Muxu account under 'Referred Friends' to see if your friends are nearing the £250 mark, and after that, it's time to make that saving.

Facebook - what a behemoth. 

You may have seen in the news recently that Facebook have made available their 'Like' button to any site on the web, enabling websites like Muxu to install it on any page, allowing a visitor to handily post the page to their Facebook feed. This is great news for users of Facebook, as on the most basic level, it makes it so much easier to share pages with your friends. 

From Thursday of last week we started installing the Like button using the most comprehensive method, so you can not only post a Like from any Muxu product page to Facebook, but in doing so, actually create a comment so Likes can be accompanied by your own words, perhaps with the idea of starting a conversation with your friends, or merely offering your opinion on the product. 

Naturally you may wonder about privacy with such an integral development, but have no fear with the Like button, as Muxu gathers no data other than how many likes per page are created. In fact, we have no way at all of seeing any information about you, as nothing is transmitted to us. 

So, enjoy the new button, conveniently positioned under the 'More Muxu' area on each product page, and please don't hesitate to post a comment here with your experiences.
